Hi, I’m Dr Janine Rix, and I am a Tutor and Learning Advisor with a passion for supporting students to reach their potential.
I know that education is life-changing and I have been actively involved in teaching and supporting students within both the school and university settings for over 19 years.
I have been awarded two Australian Awards for Excellence in University Teaching. I also have a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology, so you can probably guess that I am passionate about researching, understanding and sharing the science behind learning and success.
By combining my educational, scientific and research experience, with my passion for helping people, I strive to develop and implement evidence-based strategies to improve student success at all levels of education.
I am also a passionate Science Communicator and co-host the podcast Sister Doctor Squared: we share the science on the topics that matter.
For a more comprehensive summary of my educational and research experience, please see my LinkedIn profile.
If you would like to work with me, don’t hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to assisting you very soon!
